My favorite LSU class to date is my Introduction to Sociology class I took fall semester of sophomore year. It remains my favorite class because the professor Dr. Michelle Barton who recorded the entire class via talking power points, managed to shift my pathway to include sociology as a minor, through one outside conversation I had with her.
My advice to incoming students is to enjoy your last years of high school while preparing for college. Your senior year of high school will probably be the last time you see a lot of your friends, favorite teachers and fellow classmates for a very long time or ever. I encourage every student to try and find a balance of preparing for college while enjoying high school, because while college is amazing, nothing will beat some of the memories you have from highschool.
My favorite spot on campus is the UREC, because I am a major gym rat and it is where I can get in the zone to creating the intensity I need to push myself to the next level with all my lifts.
The highlight of my LSU experience was beating Alabama in 2019. I remember nearly every play of that game, and every moment I shared with the people in my dorm play who watching it with me.
