Tour Guide at Louisiana State University
Class of 2022
Hometown: Slidell, LA
I wanted the whole college experience including dorms, sports, greek life, an active community, academics, and hands on experience. I wanted a college where I could grow as an individual while also building a resume for the future. Over the past three years LSU has helped me in my many major changes and career changes to help me figure out my future.
to make a large campus feel smaller. I would recommend finding your niche whether that is in greek life, student government, research or any of the many clubs on campus. Also, really use the opportunities that LSU provides to prepare you for when you graduate.
Crime studies because the professor was very engaging. She had a lot of knowledge about the subject and instead of just giving us the information and taking a test she really engaged with us. Because of that class and that professor I chose a minor in criminology.
meeting my best friends and support system. Not only has LSU given a great education they also gave me a great support systems. There is a saying in my family that every child needs a support system, and I can say that is absolutely true. With out my support systems I don't know how I would have navigated my last three years of college.
